History   Sweet Tree Service, LLC, was founded by Christopher Sweet in 1997. Chris was born and raised in Great Barrington, MA. Chris graduated from Monument Mountain High school in 1991 where he was a member of the honor society and 3 year varsity basketball starter. One of his highlights was attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in 1989. After high school Chris went on to play college basketball and graduated in 1995 from Western New England College with a Bachelors in Business Administration. Throughout his life he has always had a passion for trees and began working with them at the age of 11 on his fathers Seekonk Tree farm, where he learned all aspects of managing over 20,000 trees. He also worked in the tree and landscaping business for nine years before starting his own business in 1997. In the fall of 2003 Chris received a Basic Arborist Certificate from ACRT after completing a course in Ohio.  In spring of 2007 Chris became an ISA Certified Arborist. In addition to building a successful business he has also stayed active in his community and was a volunteer fireman for 9 years and is currently assistant scout master in Boy Scout troop 23 in Great Barrington. Family is also very important to Chris who is married and has three children. Philosophy Sweet Tree Service, LLC is a safe, professional company dedicated to its clients and their properties. By maintaining a small staff where the owner is an active part of the crew we are able to provide clear and precise work form the beginning proposal all the way through the final cleanup. This ensures that all of work meets the expectations and desires set forth by our clients. Our crew members are hard working, well trained and work efficiently as a team to provide our clients with exceptional service.
